“Free collection campaign for unnecessary bedding” to nurture forests and prevent global warming

The period has been extended until April 2, 2023.

This will be carried out at all IWATA stores, a bedding specialty store.

Amid fears of global environmental destruction, Iwata wants to contribute to protecting the global environment and preventing global warming. We will work towards realizing a sustainable society while thinking about what we can do now for the future of people and the environment.

By purchasing bedding from IWATA , we will take back your unwanted bedding . The collected unwanted bedding is incinerated and the heat is used to generate electricity. The CO2 (carbon dioxide) generated during incineration will be offset by maintaining Shikoku's forests through More Trees , a general incorporated association.

At IWATA, we want to take a broader perspective and consider collecting unwanted bedding as the "first step" in our environmental conservation activities.

Please send us the bedding that you no longer need due to replacement. Your bedding creates the forest of the future.

・How to participate in the free collection campaign for unnecessary bedding

"Carbon offset" is an initiative aimed at building a decarbonized society in which CO2 emitted from daily life and economic activities is offset by greenhouse gas reduction activities such as forest absorption.
