This mattress pad is made from 100% camel hair sourced from Bactrian camels native to Mongolia. It is filled with a blend of long, coarse hairs measuring over 20 cm and fine, delicate undercoat fibers.
The thick, long camel hairs provide excellent support by evenly distributing body weight in all directions. They help prevent the hips from sinking too deeply, maintaining a natural and comfortable sleeping posture.
Because Bactrian camels live in regions with extreme temperature fluctuations, their hair offers exceptional warmth and moisture-wicking properties. Simply place this pad on top of your existing futon or mattress to enjoy enhanced comfort and support.
Comfortable, natural warmth
In Mongolia, it is not uncommon for winter temperatures to drop below -40 degrees Celsius. The hair of the Bactrian camel, which endures such cold, has a well-developed medulla (the core of the hair), giving it excellent heat retention and insulation properties. The core of camel hair is a porous fiber. It traps air between the hairs, preventing body heat from escaping.

The hair of Bactrian camels, which live in the harsh Mongolian environment, has excellent moisture absorption and release properties, meaning it always stays dry. It is refreshing and comfortable not only in winter but also in summer, and it won't feel stuffy even if you sweat.
Resilient and easy to turn over in bed
Camel hair does not have scales on the fiber surface like wool, so the hairs do not entangle and harden. This characteristic of the hair, which makes it resistant to felting, suppresses the deterioration of the filling and provides outstanding durability. It offers firm support with just the right amount of firmness, making it easy to turn over in bed.
Ionization technology to enhance cleanliness
We've further enhanced the properties of camel hair through a special ionization treatment technology. Ions and ozone generated by electronics work to remove impurities to the utmost limit.

Camel hair and wool were left in a room at 20°C and 65% humidity, and the change over time in moisture content was measured. The results showed that camel hair had about 1.6 times better moisture release properties than wool.
