New Store Overview
IWATA Tokyo Store - Bespoke Bedding Specialist – Curatorium Gotanda –
Sleep is a time of quiet, a time for blank space.
Curatorium Gotanda is an editing room for surrendering oneself to that blank space.
Based on our bespoke bedding expertise, we also feature a cushion gallery and an archive with books related to sleep.
Aesthetics of ambiguity, chosen by sensibility and deepened by intellect. Cherish and enjoy the passage of time.
Gentle sleep, where mind and body return to one, begins here.
【Bespoke Bedding】
Each form designed to embrace sleep.
Mattresses, beds, bedding, pillows—your unique sleep tailored with layers of materials and craftsmanship.
The genuine comfort that deepens with use quietly breathes here.

【Cushion Gallery】
Touch, surrender, relax—.
A gallery space featuring cushions crafted with carefully selected materials and sensibility.
Please experience the differences in purpose, texture, and appearance with your own senses.

【Sleep Archive: Yoshida Bunko】
An archive of knowledge tracing the memories of sleep.
The forms of sleep, gently deciphered, enveloped in aesthetics and tranquility.
The culture of sleep breathes with a rich sensibility that enjoys blank space.
The sleep archive displays books collected over half a century by the late Shigeru Yoshida.
Shigeru Yoshida
In 1970, he joined Nippon Shinso Shinbunsha, a trade newspaper company related to bedding.
