SIGHTS KYOTO, a co-working space where the atmosphere of a Kyoto townhouse intersects with communication, will be holding an event where you can try out the "Human Evolution Bed" from March 20th (Wednesday, holiday) to May 6th (Monday, holiday).
Iwata Co., Ltd. and Nishizawa Stay Co., Ltd., which operates the co-working space SIGHTS KYOTO, will be holding a limited-time event from March 20th (Wednesday, holiday) to May 6th (Monday, holiday) where you can try out Iwata's "Human Evolution Bed." During the event, you can experience the comfort of the "Human Evolution Bed" and experience the paid plan POWER NAP.
"We are particular about comfort" -- this is not something that only we have. Chimpanzees, our closest relatives, are also very particular about their sleeping habits. Chimpanzees build beds out of branches and leaves in the trees to sleep. And these beds hide many secrets for making their sleeping experience more comfortable. The "Human Evolution Bed" was created based on this exquisite technique. We are carrying out this project in the hope that everyone will experience the comfort of being gently wrapped up in it.
SIGHTS KYOTO is a co-working space located in Gion. Take a break from work and enjoy the comfort of the Human Evolution Bed with a POWER NAP while feeling the atmosphere of Kyoto.
Here's a tip for POWER NAP: if you consume coffee or other caffeine before your nap, you'll wake up more smoothly. This is because caffeine's stimulating effect begins 20 to 30 minutes after you consume it.

What is the Human Evolution Bed?
This bed was inspired by the sleeping mats of chimpanzees, who make beds from branches and leaves in the trees. Unlike ordinary beds, this one is round and sways. There are many secrets hidden in this bed that make it comfortable to sleep on.

What is SIGHTS KYOTO? Opening in April 2022! A tourist complex that has been renovated from a historic Kyoto townhouse that is over 100 years old and located in Miyagawacho. The first floor houses the management company office, a tourist information bar, and merchandise. The second and third floors are co-working spaces. A new hub for interaction between local residents and tourists.
