This bed was born from the passion of craftsmen who strive to create handmade products.
The design is a light and airy style that fits comfortably in both Japanese and Western spaces.
The gentle comfort of sleeping will gently soothe your mind and body.
The main body is American black cherry, which is the same tree species as Japanese wild cherry.
The wood is dense and has a beautiful surface finish, and the more it is used, the more it turns amber, giving it a luxurious feel.
The headboard is angled so that it can be used like a sofa, so you can enjoy watching TV or reading without straining your body.
Slatted flooring is made by weaving cotton tape into round beech rods, which provides softer cushioning and further enhances the quality of the mattress.
For painting, we use Osmo, a non-polluting paint based on natural vegetable oils.
It penetrates into the wood and blends in well, bringing out the natural texture of the wood.
It also has the excellent property of not causing cracking, peeling, or peeling of the painted surface, and does not restrict the breathing of the wood.
